For some time now, there have been five subdivision events held each year, two of which are social events for children. The Easter Egg Hunt in April and Halloween Party in October have proven quite popular with neighborhood youngsters.The annual Subdivision Garage Sale is held in May, and is announced in the spring newsletter, on this website and in local newspapers. The annual meeting of homeowners is held each November. Its date and time are announced in the mailing received by each resident in October, and will be also be announced on this website. In December, a holiday outdoor home lighting contest is held, and prizes are awarded for First, Second and Third places.
In 2012, two new events were introduced -- first, a Great Yards Contest for excellence in front yard landscaping. The contest was judged by a professional from Bordines and prizes were awarded to the top 5 yards. The plan is for this to be a bi-annual contest. And a "Summer Kick-off" BBQ was held in June, well-attended by residents of all ages.
